We have been without internet services for several days so I'm waaaay behind. I'll try to catch up by doing 2 days in a day. Today is July 21, 2010.
We spent the day in Frankenmuth, Michigan. Very pretty town settled by Frankonians in 1845. Franconia is now Bavaria.
And there we are, in front of a fountain.
I loved the architecture, and I found a couple of quilt shops.
They had some of these horse & carriages giving tours of the town.
If you look closely at these flowers, it's a chicken. This was in front of a chicken restaurant. The white flowers are the head and back, you can't see the yellow beak. The red is the wing and the tail feathers are ornamental grass, it was really neat.
The sky that night was absolutely beautiful.
