We weren't going to go to the Mall of America but when Jim told us how close it was, we decided to go, and we're glad we did. We had lunch there.
This place is incredible. We walked through less than half of it. If you look closely, you'll see that there are 3 levels of stores, every kind of store you can imagine, except for a quilt store, but they did have a scrapbooking store. They even had a store that sold just socks.
This was in the covered amusement park in the center. People were tethered so they wouldn't fall to the ground. There were series of beams, stairs, ladders, 3 floors high, way too high for me to be walking a beam.
There were different roller coasters, you can see the different colored tracks, green, blue, aqua, etc. These were the tracks for the different roller coasters. It was neat to watch them go.
You can see this one crossing.
Then there was this huge hammer shaped ride, those are all seats, 3 rows. This thing would turn upside down, the part where the prople were sitting would also turn, sometimes the people were upside down. Not for me, thanks. I'm like my dog, a real woose.
All these little things you see hanging were prisms, really pretty. Must be beautiful at night. They were hanging from the ceiling through all 3 floors.
They were in the process of enlarging their Leggo store, check out this huge display.
They even had 2 large Leggo airplanes hanging from the ceiling. That's one of the food courts in the back ground.
