Workcamping in Sweeney, TX

We've been looking for a nice campground where we can workcamp.  How this works is that we put in a total of 20 hrs. a week between the 2 of us and we get our full hook-up site free.  (water, electricity & sewer)  We even have cable and internet which we don't need since we have satelite and a Verizon Wifi card.  Check out Stonebridge RV Park.

So we found this place.  It's only 52 sites and only a year old.  It was very nicely done.  The owners are very nice, there is another workcamper couple here from Washington state.  This is the front of the office/lodge.

This is the back of the lodge.  Don will be doing some ground work and I will be doing some weekly cleaning.

I always said I would never clean bathrooms, but check these out!

Look at the shower, there are 2 of these big bathrooms and since just about everybody who checks into this place has a self contained unit, these aren't used very much.  Real easy to clean.

They also have an exercise room.

The nice thing is, the owners don't watch the clock, we don't have set times, we just do our jobs.  That kind of atmosphere make you put in more time than needed.  We will be heree until the beginning of April when Don has a bunch of lessons to do in Houston and others on the way home.  For those of you who didn't see our blog last spring, he got a job with a company out of California giving day long RV lessons.  He did 2 in Mississippi and 1 in Livingston, Texas on the way down.  The one in Texas was to a couple from Maine.
