Arkansas, Mississippi & Tennessee

We crossed Arkansas at the southern end.  It stopped raining but was still gloomy.  Actually the part of Arkansas we saw was acrually quite boring.

Even Bruno was bored.

We got to the bridge crossing over to Mississippi.

This is the Mississippi River going over the bridge.  It's very wide.

And here we are in Mississippi.

I really liked this "Visitors Center" in Greenville, Mississippi that looked like a river boat.

We drove up the west coast of Mississippi along the river, but not only is the river snake like, there's a levee most of the way, we we really didn't see it except for once through some trees.  There were many cotton fields and the farmer in me noticed that the soil was brown, not red like in Texas.

Finally, here we are in Tennessee.  Long trip but we plan on staying put for a few days.
