Tucson, Arizona

Before leaving Benson, we needed to wash the motor home.  We stopped at a truck stop on the way out of town.  Don is washing and I'm rinsing behind him, he must REALLY trust me, I have the hose.

Here we are just outside of Tucson.  The park was absolutely beautiful.  That part of the country is known for having the saguaro cactus.

See the arms on this one?  They don't grow arms until they are 75 yrs and 15 ft. tall.  They live an average of 150 years.

This was our campsite. These were big sites in the desert.
We took Gage Pass to go into town (trucks or RVs not allowed) with the Jeep.  This was the view from one of the scenic stops.  Absolutely beautiful.

We had to find a Tiffin RV dealer since Don had to replace the air filter.  Our fuel mileage went way down, the filter was bad.  Once he got it changed the fuel mileage went up again.

Of course if there's an air museum around, we have to go.  This was the Pima Air and Space Museum.

This is called The Bumble Bee, an experimental air craft.

This is the ZR-71 Blackbird high speed reconnaicense..
It is a MACH-3 airplane.
That aircraft flew from San Diego to New York in 1 hr. 40 min.

This was John Kennedy's presidential aircraft.
