Cody, Wyoming

On our way to Cody after leaving Yellowstone, the scenery was beautiful.

And the roads were still winding.

We stopped at a pull out and Don & Bruno climbed a rock to see the view.

Our coach and car look so small.  Shows just how huge these rocks are.

See the dark section, it was like a brick wall coming down the mountain.

Every time we turned a corner, it was another surprise.

The shapes were tremendous.

Every now and then we'd see lakes.

These mountains looked just like they were covered with sawdust.  It was actually growth looking like dried grass.

We stopped at the Buffalo Bill Dam in Cody.

After visiting the dam, there were 3 tunnels in a row we had to go through.

Looks small from that angle doesn't it.  That's alot of rock over us.

The first one was the longest.

There wasn't much distance between the different tunnels.

We finally got to Cody.

This is a bronze statue of Buffalo Bill Cody.

There were many of these teepees through town, I loved them.

They were all different.

We saw elk in town, there were 2 in front of this church rectory.

They look so elegant.

We watched them for quite some time, and took many pictures.
We've got lots more to see in Cody.
